You will read the following two articles: "Wonder Woman’s Epic
Introduction Is Undercut by a Perpetually Helpless Lois Lane" by Eliana Dockterman
and "If Hollywood Were Serious about Diversity, It Wouldn't Fail at Every Turn" by
Lexi Alexander. Find one additional article that adds to the discussion of diversity in Hollywood. You may not use the attached bonus article, "Netflix's 'Iron Fist' Stumbles In Depiction Of Asian Culture," for your third article; find something else.
Answer the questions at the end of the "Wonder Woman" article.
Write a quick reaction (think five paragraph essay) to the articles. Take a stand and have a thesis. Your third article should contribute
to your argument in some way.
You will bring your reaction and third article to class for a discussion. You need to be prepared for that day as it is hard to participate if you are unprepared.
